Pskov is very ancient Russian city, here are 40
churches in
the Pskov now. In ancient times here was much more churches.
The earliest go back to the 12 th century, the latest to
the early 20 th. Numerous pretty little churches were built in the 14 th. and 15 th. centuries. The designs with their apses and drums are ornamented remind us very much of the fine Russian open work embroidery.
