Pskov. Kremlin with Trinity Cathedral.
Here is still very great summertime with white nights. The pictures was taken at night, 11 - 11.30, or so, 16 July 2003. Pskov is very ancient Russian city. It was first mentioned in chronicles in 903. Olga, the first Russian Christian woman and a wise governor of Russia founded it.

The estuary of the Pskova River. Here are rivers Pskova and Velikaya join, between two towers. The Pskova river was the waterway of the town.
In ancient times Pskov called Pleskov, from word "splashes" (in Russia - Pleskatsya. But the origin name Pskov is still under discussion.
Vlasiewskaya tower on the bank of the Velikaya river, near with Kremlin. Here is restaurant "Russ" now, in the tower.
Opposite of the Kremlin was built a St. Olga Chapel.
